Hardrock Woodworks is a family run Etsy shop that sells handmade wood and 3D printed products. Wayne is a fine woodworker craftsman, and he makes beautiful quilting clappers in maple wood, walnut and a type of maple called Ambrosia, which has a striped wood grain. He started making clappers and other quilting notions and tools as a result of his wife, Jane, who is a quilter, had a need for her sewing and quilting use. A good quality clapper is in high demand for not only quilters, but clothing and bag making sewists as well.
I talk with Wayne, Jane and their daughter Katy. Katy handles most of the tech related responsibilities of the business like taking product photos and uploading to Etsy and social media and marketing.
